Cluster munitions: Tell your MP to #fixthebill!

Conventional Weapons, News

Bill S-10, the draft legislation to implement the Convention on Cluster Munitions, is in second reading in the House of Commons. Our elected representatives are going to be reviewing the legislation and deciding if Canada will actually stand behind this flawed and dangerous text. Mines Action Canada has created petitions for the House of Commons that you can download in English or en Français.

All you need to do is have 25 people to sign the petition with their addresses and then submit the original document to your Member of Parliament.  You can find contact information for your Member of Parliament online.  Please let us know at info@minesactioncanada.org if you submit a petition so we can follow up.  It’s very important for MPs to know that their constituents have strong opinions about Bill S-10.  Most MPs will present petitions in the House of Commons to share your views with the rest of Parliament.

Let’s make our voices heard!
