About this Event

This Space Café Canada will feature Dr. David Kendall, Founding Member at Outer Space Institute, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada in conversation with Dr. Jessica West, Senior Researcher at Project Ploughshares and a friend of SpaceWatch.Global.

Does space need more Canada?

Canada has a strong past in space, but what is the future? Space Café Canada will hold its inaugural episode with Dr. David Kendall, a longstanding leader of Canadian space initiatives both at home and internationally. Drawing on his previous roles including as Director-General of the Canadian Space Agency, Chair of the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space, Vice President of the International Astronautical Federation, and faculty at the International Space University, we will discuss what the future might hold.

What does Canada bring to space, and how can it lead?

This Space Café Canada will be conducted in English.
