Senior Researcher Jessica West will participate in the Wilton Park workshop on future space threats in Steyning West Sussex, in the United Kingdom.

Our use of outer space has transformed the way the world works and how states relate to each other. But this is just the beginning. There is a new race to secure the economic and strategic benefits of the exploration and use of the moon, future capabilities on-orbit around Earth have potential offensive and defensive uses, while strategic competition is intensifying. How will these three trends shape the future threat environment? What potential threats might emerge from strategic competition? What can the international community do about it?
