Winnipeg Reception

As part of this the Canadian Council of Churches (CCC) meetings Project Ploughshares is hosting a reception for supporters at the:

310 Donald St, Winnipeg

This will be an opportunity to meet director Paul Heidebrecht and get an update on Ploughshares.  

2026 marks the 50th year since Ernie Regehr initiated Project Ploughshares on the campus of Conrad Grebel University College at the University of Waterloo. The early area of concern was “witnessing against the militarism that impedes development and self-determination, and exploring alternative, less militaristic, national security strategies with a particular, but not exclusive, focus on Canada.”  Fifty years later this concern is no less relevant.
